What will the apprentice be doing?

• Greeting clients and making them feel welcome
• Booking appointments and managing the salon diary
• Offering refreshments and maintaining a friendly, professional atmosphere
• Washing clients’ hair using appropriate techniques and products
• Applying treatments under supervision
• Practising basic cutting, colouring, and styling on training heads or models
• Cleaning and sterilising tools and equipment
• Sweeping floors and keeping the salon tidy
